Beautiful sunny day so I headed for the beach…but the May Gray beat me there.
Oh well, I know how to bring out the sunshine, with what April showers bring

Well the desert is winding down for the season. The desert floor is pretty much done time to move to other elevations and surprisingly…south.
Found some of the later bloomers, Brittle bush (which is late this year) Ocotillo and cactus. Along with some Daisies, Lupine, Apricot Mallow and Primrose.
This will probably be my last trip out there this season, even though the weather has not turned hot at all yet this year. Which led to a long season.
I’ll see you next year my desert friend. Time for the Ocean to take over
I wonder why they call it Goldfield?
