Every once in a while, people come into your life and give you a “Good Day”. Back in May I shot the KIFM Gaslamp Jazz Festival. The images of the Guitars & Saxes show came to the attention of Jazz Great, Peter White. He wrote me to tell me he enjoyed the images of the show and invited me to be his guest at the next show at Thornton Winery. It really was a “Good Day” getting to just hang out with him and talk about music ( My second passion next to photography) and then enjoy a fantastic show by him and the rest of the Guitars & Saxes ensemble ( Jeff Golub, Kirk Whalum, Gerald Albright)
So thank you Peter for a “Good Day” I truly enjoyed it.
By the way, Peter White’s latest CD is entitiled… “Good Day” and you can find out more about it and Peter at peterwhite.com

Saw my friend and Smooth Jazz Great Minid Abair at Anthology in San Diego last night.
AMAZING club and an even More Amazing show. You’ve got to see her if you like smooth Jazz or really any type of music.
She’ll make you get up and Dance I don’t care who you are.
So after the show I went up to say hi and she told me that my Images are part of her iPhone App
How cool is that? I guess that is the new way you know you have made it…part of an iPhone app.
She’s just the coolest person and I thank her so much for things she has done for me
Yeah Mindi… You Rock!

Also a big shout out to Keyboardist Rodney Lee for hangin with me after the show.
I hope you made it to In-N-Out Burger before they closed
